L'oven Pizza is a Chicago-style pizza restaurant in Brazil, Indiana.
They offer Chicago Style deep dish and thin crust with an array of toppings to choose from.
There are many Pizza options in Greencastle, but none claim to have Chicago Pizza so when I heard of L'oven I knew I had to take a trip.
I'm always skeptical when I hear Chicago Style anywhere outside of the Chicago area. I'm especially skeptical when it's in a small town and operating in an addition to someone's house.
However, let me say loud and clear, that L'oven Pizza is the best Pizza I have had in West Central Indiana. If you're from Chicago I would compare the thin crust to (my favorite) Phil's Pizza – Pizza Restaurant in Chicago (business.site) and the deep dish reminds me of Giorganos. I regret opting for only one topping on the pie but the pepperoni was very good.
Our thin-crust was sausage, onion, and banana peppers and all three flavors stood out. The banana peppers have a strong flavor and were clearly fresh.
When I first moved here I was a Pizza snob, but over time I've come to enjoy quite a few Pizza options in West Central Indiana.
Some of my favorite include
Perillo's Pizzeria (facebook.com)
You have to go and try it for yourself. Make sure you tell them that Vince from Distinct sent you.
